HISTORIC RESTORATION

About This Project

Radcon Builders had the unique chance to work on the careful restoration and revivement of a truly charming home in need of a lot of skilled craftsmenship! We are happy to say that the project results were amazing and truly surpassed all expectations!

This was the restoration of a Victorian home in downtown San Jose.  I had the wonderful opportunity to work with clients who wanted to maintain the historical integrity of the home.  Careful consideration was used during deconstruction because we wanted to reinstall existing siding and moldings.

We began a multi-phase historic restoration of this home with the installation of a 2000 sqf basement.  Construction began with the installation of cribbing and raising the home on steel beams for support during the excavation of the basement foundation.  Green materials were used from the construction of the basement walls to the installation of the windows.
